Context Comix I got a letter from my brother when I was in college that included a single panel from a Nancy comic. It's just Nancy's head and torso with Nancy’s speech balloon saying, "Nice mouse, what's it do?" Is this just an out-of-context non sequitur? Or the gateway to an entire universe we can sense but not view in its totality. Years of study have convinced me of the latter. Since that first Nancy, when I now read the comics, I read them one panel at a time and attempt to discern the unseen parallel cosmos and divine the greater underlying wisdom. I am searching for others to join me on this quest. --Waz |
